Berlin was a center for all experimentation, rebellion, and advances
in the arts. And the Living Theater found a warmly receptive welcome
in that city. The Berlin audience caught on to what they were trying
to do quite quickly and they had quite a success d'esteem while they
were there. Much warmer than most of the rest of the world, for that
time.
